Role Description

In this role, you'll lead the technical direction of Node.js services while guiding automation and infrastructure practices across the team. This is a hands-on leadership position where your decisions shape both the codebase and how the team ships and operates it. This is your opportunity to combine backend engineering depth with DevOps ownership on a team that values both.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of backend services in Node.js.
• Build and maintain automation with Ansible.
• Design and implement GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Guide DevOps practices, including containerization and infrastructure as code.
• Mentor engineers and set technical standards for the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and delivery plans.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript.
• Background in building GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tooling.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
