Role Description

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with experience in computer software development, modification, and maintenance. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
• 8 years of experience with government IT projects as a software developer, software engineer, or in a related field.
• 8 years of experience building and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
• 3 years of experience supporting Water Quality/Safety Information Systems, preferably in a government setting.
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET, and C#, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SDWIS, Water Quality Exchange (WQX), SWIFT, and DW–SFTIES.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat and Java.
• Experience working or collaborating with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
• Experience using service/help desk ticket platforms and Microsoft Office products.

***Lumen and/or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
