Role Description

As an Android Developer, you will create exceptional native experiences with the latest e-commerce tech stack while ensuring the quality of the product is world-class.

• Team up with talented Android, iOS, and Quality Assurance engineers
• Contribute to building an app with over 10M+ downloads
• Utilize Arch Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room etc.)
• Follow a Kotlin first, RxJava & Coroutines development approach
• Work within Agile frameworks: Scrum and Kanban

National and international expected travelling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs, estimated to be between 0%-15%.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin (Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus)
• Experience with Jetpack Compose (Compose Multiplatform is a plus)
• Knowledge of Coroutines (or RxJava)
• Understanding of Software Architecture (MVVM or similar)
• Experience with unit testing and UI tests
• Self-driven with the ability to work with little supervision
• Passion for quality and strong attention to detail
• Ability to create fluid visual interactions and implement mobile user experience patterns

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a smaller cross-functional and feature-focused team
• Ability to collaborate directly with clients to ensure technical feasibility of requirements
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures
• Experience in test-driven development and continuous delivery
• Understanding of metrics, performance, and operational aspects of code
