[Hiring] Middle Java Engineer @Avenga

Role Description

We are looking for Middle Java Engineer with strong knowledge in Java and Kotlin, available for minimum 50%. The goal is to build a unified, scalable ads platform.

We are transforming a long-standing business application into a modern technology stack. Our goal is to build a modular monolith designed for scalability and future microservices separation. We follow hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure clean, maintainable solutions.

• Contribute to the development and optimization of AdTech solutions
• Work with modern Java/Kotlin within JVM-based architectures
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, tech leads, and architects
• Participate in technical discussions, propose solutions, and improve system performance
• Ensure high-quality code delivery and follow best engineering practices

Qualifications

• A Middle Java Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge of JVM technologies, including modern Java and modern Kotlin
• Experience in AdTech, ideally with DSP (Demand-Side Platform) development
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• English level: Upper-Intermediate

Requirements

• Previous experience working with high-load systems
• Understanding of system design principles
• Familiarity with cloud platforms
• Experience collaborating with Senior, Principal Engineers, or Architects
• Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments
