[Hiring] Middle Full Stack developer @TechMagic

Role Description

We are looking for a strong Middle Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js) with 3+ years of experience to join our Medplum direction and grow into a project team through a structured onboarding program.

• You will start with an internal Medplum-focused bootcamp.
• Followed by a hands-on pet project.
• Transition to one of our ongoing healthcare projects, where you will act as a technical consultant and contributor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• English level: Upper-intermediate

Requirements

• Nice to have:
• Experience with AI tools and spec-driven development
• Experience with IaaS (AWS CDK, Terraform, or alternatives)
• Experience with AI integrations
• Experience in healthcare domain (FHIR, Medplum, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete internal Medplum bootcamp and gain domain expertise in healthcare solutions
• Develop a pet project to apply acquired knowledge in practice
• Implement and maintain scalable web applications
• Participate in discovery phases, estimations, and technical planning
• Perform research and prototyping for new ideas and solutions
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and technical consulting
• Start and support new projects from scratch

• Customer: Multiple healthcare clients (USA/EU-based startups)
• Type: Healthcare / SaaS
• Product: We are working on several healthcare platforms built on top of Medplum — an open-source platform for building healthcare applications using FHIR standards. These solutions focus on patient data management, clinical workflows, and integrations between healthcare systems.
• Market: US & EU healthcare market
• Stage: Ongoing projects and active growth of Medplum expertise within the company

Work Schedule

• Full-time working day, the full remote is available.

Onboarding Program

• 1st month: Structured Medplum bootcamp with mentorship
• 2nd month: Development of an internal pet project
• Next steps: Allocation to a commercial project
