Role Description

Leads initiatives to design highly scalable and flexible software architectures. Manages large software engineering projects and systems to optimize software performance, responsiveness, and resource utilization capable of handling significant workloads. Drives the development of new features and enhancements, contributing to architectural decisions. Contributes to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

• C# (.NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8)
• Typescript, Javascript

• API and Service Development (REST API / Web APIs / WCF/HTTP services, GraphQL)
• Cloud Technologies - Docker, Integration with Azure services
• Dependency Injection (Unity, Autofac)
• Client-Side Web Technologies (TypeScript / JavaScript, Knockout.js MVVM, Promises)
• UI Frameworks & Libraries (Kendo UI, Knockout, jQuery, CSS / LESS)
• Database Technologies (SQL Server, Oracle; schema design, querying, indexes, performance, ORM)
• Messaging & Integration (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, 3rd party web service integration)
• Concurrency, Asynchronous Processing & Resiliency (sync vs async, async/await, multi-threading, background processing, resiliency/performance, memory management, caching)
• Reporting - Crystal Report integration, BCP
• Automated Testing (NUnit unit/integration tests)
• Observability & Diagnostics (Application Insights, logging, telemetry)
• Security-Aware Development (OWASP, static analysis/security scanning e.g., CxOne)
• Developer Tooling (Visual Studio, Powershell, Postman/Bruno, JetBrains Tools - dotTrace, dotMemory, internal dev tooling incl. GitHub CoPilot / AI-assisted workflows)
• Build and Source Control Technologies - Git, GitHub, Team City
