[Hiring] Lead Full-stack Software Engineer @SimCorp India LLP

Role Description

You will be a part of the team who develops the SimCorp Client Reporting software suite, part of the Data Communications offer. SimCorp Client Reporting is a best-in-class client communications and client reporting solution used by private wealth and asset management firms to increase operational efficiency, enhance client service and enrich client experience. SimCorp Client Reporting automates the business processes that generate personalized client reports, pitchbooks, client meeting packs and other client communications.

As a Software engineer specializing in Backend, you will work within an agile development team to deliver enhancements to existing functionality, new features and to identify continuous improvements to the work processes. You will be involved in all phases of the development process, and your tasks will include:

• Requirements review
• Planning
• Writing code
• Writing unit tests
• Retrofitting automated tests
• Helping your teammates

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years in full-stack development, showcasing substantial expertise in backend technologies
• Deep knowledge of .NET, client-server architecture, API design, and MS SQL Server
• Solid understanding in service design, systems thinking, and applying modern design principles
• Direct experience with Azure and Azure DevOps for deployment, automation, and CI/CD
• Extensive experience in refactoring and modernizing legacy backend systems for cloud readiness
• Practical experience with test automation
• Proficient communication, analytical, and teamwork skills
• High self-organization skills
• Experience working in Agile teams with a pragmatic, quality-focused mindset
• Fluent in English language (verbal and written)

Requirements

• Experience with retrofitting automated tests to legacy systems
• Experience with Visual Basic and VB .NET
• Experience with reporting systems
