The Lead Architect, Solution Engineering will be responsible for the business solution designs that includes working at the business unit level developing the most advanced end-to-end solution architecture for highly complex and significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution design and guidance to ensure that the solution adheres to PSS Architecture Guiding Principles and standards while maximizing reuse of technology assets.
• Actively lead and participate in the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for the advancement of PBM technology while keeping in mind the complexities of our IT landscape.
• Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to App Dev, Technology Services and Solutions.
• Lead and drive proofs-of-concept and technology deep-dives specific to partner technologies.
• Advise and assist App development teams with technical roadblocks such as performance challenges within a solution in key strategic initiatives.
• Incorporate AI based solution design.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in the following areas: Application and Integration Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Security and Automation along with a working knowledge of IT operations.
• In depth understanding of APIs and microservices-based architecture.
• Experience working with technologies that work as glue between modern apps and legacy infrastructure leveraging streaming platforms like Kafka.
• 5+ years in overall design/development experience.
• In Depth cloud platform knowledge with major public cloud platform including GCP, and AZURE.
• 2+ years in hands-on AI/ML (including GenAI) experience and hands-on expertise with automating processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Health Care Industry domain knowledge.
• Experience in Care management domain.
• Experience in enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Master Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $118,450.00 - $236,900.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
