Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-native business applications. The successful candidate will work across the full development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through to deployment and support — building robust back-end services in .NET and responsive front-end interfaces in React, all hosted on Microsoft Azure.

This role suits a developer who is keen to grow, writes clean and well-tested code, and is comfortable contributing to a disciplined, structured engineering process under the guidance of senior team members. Exposure to integrating AI capabilities (e.g. large language models) into production applications is a key differentiator for this position.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET and React.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party services.
• Develop and optimise relational data models and queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Deploy, configure, and monitor applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) into application workflows through effective prompt design and API usage.
• Manage source control, branching, and code reviews using GitLab (or equivalent).
• Participate fully in the software development lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write automated unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members, technical leads, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack.

Requirements

• .NET development — strong proficiency in C# and the .NET platform (.NET 10 preferable), including building back-end services and APIs.
• React — solid experience building component-based front-end interfaces, with a good command of JavaScript (and ideally TypeScript).
• Microsoft Azure — practical experience deploying and running applications in the Azure cloud (e.g. App Service, SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault).
• Microsoft SQL Server — competent in database design, T-SQL, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Source control — hands-on experience with GitLab or equivalent (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket), including branching strategies and merge/pull request workflows.
• AI prompting — experience working with AI/LLM providers such as Anthropic or OpenAI, including prompt engineering and integrating their APIs into applications.
• SDLC — sound understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern delivery practices (Agile / Scrum).
• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI space.
