[Hiring] Jr Web developer @Leidos

Role Description

The Leidos Health and Services Sector is seeking a Jr Web Developer responsible for supporting the design and development of secure web presence content, including web applications and third-party public websites. This role assists with the ongoing maintenance of the secure web presence, including:

• Reformatting text
• Ensuring hyperlink integrity
• Managing file transfers
• Posting translated and newly approved materials to web pages in alignment with the style and format of the Government-operated website

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires US Citizenship, current location in the UNITED STATES, and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with one or more years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of web design principles, creative content development, and web application programming concepts
• Working knowledge of HTML scripting and related web technologies
• Experience supporting web content management, internal and external web page maintenance, and SharePoint environments
• Ability to apply principles, theories, and technical concepts within the web development domain
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
• U.S. citizenship and fluency in English required
• Ability to successfully pass criminal history, fingerprint background checks, and credential verification required
• Ability to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required
• Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms
• This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from, as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home). Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable

Requirements

• Support the design, development, and enhancement of secure and public-facing web applications and websites
• Assist with ongoing maintenance of web properties
• Contribute to projects and enhancements that improve the value, usability, and content architecture of program web platforms
• Develop and implement online page layouts and interactive visual designs in collaboration with the web design and production teams
• Support SharePoint administration and engineering activities related to internal and external-facing web pages
• Apply HTML scripting and related web technologies to update and maintain website content
• Collaborate with business users to determine appropriate publishing technologies and web solutions
• Work with internal experts and cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions
• Provide recommendations to improve web development processes, workflows, and project outcomes
• Communicate effectively with internal and client project teams
• Support day-to-day web operations and contribute to deliverables with measurable impact on operational results
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Benefits

• Anticipated salary: $64,600.00 to $68,000.00
