[Hiring] Fullstack JavaScript Developer @Azumo

Role Description

Azumo is looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in React, Node, and GraphQL each. The position is based remotely in Latin America. The developer will work in the EST/PST time-zone.

This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with bright engineering minds in SaaS and big data computing. As a key engineer in the web team, you should excel with minimal technical supervision, embrace time constraints, and work with team members to deliver high-quality products and features. You will enjoy the role if you love delivering well-factored and tested JavaScript applications.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance existing Typescript and JavaScript code-base
• Architect app and collaborate with the team to integrate with 3rd party APIs and services
• Design the overall application framework, including component hierarchy, authentication, error handling, etc.
• Implement the front-end build, deploy and CI pipeline.
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the field of software development.
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• 5+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and front-end coding skills
• 5+ years experience in React and GraphQL each.
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving

Requirements

• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience
• Some experience with backend development (Java or Node.js)
• Prior experience with building RESTful web services
• Experience writing SQL and using NoSQL databases
• Experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, unit/functional/integration)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• An analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
