[Hiring] Full Stack Web Developer @SimpsonScarborough

Role Description

We’re looking for a Full Stack Web Developer who thinks like a creative and builds like an engineer. You’ll partner closely with designers and strategists to develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing websites that balance creative vision with technical efficiency.

• Build responsive, accessible websites from Figma designs using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with designers on feasibility, animations, and finding the right balance between brand expression and engineering efficiency.
• Build sites using traditional CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and headless CMS setups (Sanity, Contentful).
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, optimizing for performance and WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.
• Conduct quality assurance and cross-browser testing to maintain functionality and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js.
• Experience with Git/version control, traditional CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal), and headless CMS workflows (Sanity, Contentful).
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and SEO best practices.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both technical capability and creative sensibility.
• A collaborative working style — comfortable engaging directly with designers and contributing to the creative process from the start.
• Experience with React or Vue is a plus.
• A portfolio is required to be considered for this role.

Requirements

• Salary starts at $90,000 - $105,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
