[Hiring] Full Stack Engineer @ZOE

Role Description

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a front-end focus to help us build world-class digital experiences. ZOE runs a full-stack environment, but this role is for someone who loves crafting seamless, performant, responsive and beautiful user interfaces.

Your main focus will be zoe.com , the place where people discover ZOE, learn about our science and join as members or buy our products. Your work will directly shape how millions of people first experience ZOE, and you'll see its impact in the data.

You'll spend most of your time in TypeScript, React and Next.js. You'll also work in our backend services (Kotlin or Python) to make sure the data you need is available, well structured and delivered efficiently. You'll help shape and grow our web design system with design and engineering, and you'll launch A/B tests and work with analysts to understand the results.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js, and understand state management, hooks and web performance optimisation.
• Working knowledge of a backend language (such as Python, Kotlin or Java) and feel comfortable navigating an API or database schema.
• Pragmatic engineer who prefers simple, maintainable solutions to clever over-engineering.
• Enjoy collaborative, cross-functional work and care about the "why" behind a feature as much as the "how."

Requirements

• Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation tools (e.g. Optimizely).
• Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG).
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Production experience with Kotlin or Python.
