Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer with a blend of backend robustness and frontend finesse. Leverage AI-powered coding tools to drive productivity and quality in building scalable, secure applications.

• Architect and develop backend microservices using Python (Flask/Django) and Java (Spring Boot).
• Hands-on experience in Laravel framework for building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Implement dynamic frontends using JS, React.js, or Vue.js, ensuring seamless API integration.
• Integrate AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Cursor AI for code generation, refactoring, and multi-file enhancement.
• Optimize data strategies with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases; familiarity with platforms like Snowflake or Databricks is a plus.
• Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and drive architectural excellence.
• Drive Agile ceremonies using Jira and Confluence, ensuring alignment between development and business goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master's in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• In-depth experience with Java, Python, and frontend frameworks.
• Proven proficiency with AI-powered development tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud environments desirable.

Requirements

• Domain knowledge in healthcare, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, AWS SQS), GraphQL, and real-time technologies.
• Familiarity with modern test frameworks and code quality tools.
• The individual is expected to work in PST/EST hours.
