Role Description

As a Full Stack Developer, you will take a key role in designing and developing custom web applications end‑to‑end. You will contribute to backend and frontend development, API design, data integrations, and cloud architecture. You will work closely with biologists, data scientists, and product teams in a highly collaborative environment focused on clean architecture, documentation, and maintainability.

• Developing full‑stack features using Python (FastAPI) and React
• Designing and building integrations for large‑scale data workflows
• Working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud infrastructure (GCP)
• Contributing to early prototyping and architecture discussions
• Ensuring code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and data/API assumptions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in an agile environment
• Strong experience with Python 3.9+ and cloud‑based application development
• Experience with FastAPI or Django, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with React, Node.js, HTML5, CSS
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices
• Understanding of cloud services (GCP or AWS equivalents)
• Ownership mindset, proactive approach, strong communication skills
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders in cross‑functional teams
• Located in Czechia, Slovakia or Hungary
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Requirements

• Exposure to Python‑based environments and API‑driven architectures
• Experience with data‑intensive or scientific applications
• Understanding of basic data visualization principles or scientific libraries (plotly, matplotlib, etc.)

Assignment Details

• Start date: beginning of April 2026
• Workload: 3 days/week
• Location: Czechia, Slovakia or Hungary (remote within these countries only)
• B2B contract
• Salary: 5.700-7.200 CZK/MD (235-295 €)
• Client: global US‑based life‑science company

Recruitment Process

• Screening Call: A 30‑minute introductory Teams video call with our recruiter, Nikola Otáhalová.
• Technical Interview: A 60‑minute Teams video call with one of our software developers, focused on technical questions related to the required tech stack.
• Final Interview with the Client: A 60‑minute Teams video call with the client.
