Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting TypeScript monorepos (Nx or Turborepo) at production scale.
• Deep experience with Next.js and Node.js service design.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modeling experience, ideally with financial or ledger-style data (transactional integrity, auditability, state machines).
• Hands-on experience designing security and compliance into an architecture — RBAC/MFA, immutable audit trails, data residency/segregation.
• Working familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and/or the EU Data Act (or comparable regulatory frameworks).
• Demonstrated ability to design data isolation/segregation architectures for systems that combine sensitive persisted data with AI or third-party processing.

Requirements

• Prior architecture experience in fintech or another regulated domain (healthtech, insurtech, etc.) - Nice to have.
• Cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-as-Code fluency (Terraform or similar) to keep a three-environment setup vendor-neutral.
• Experience working alongside a security-focused PM or compliance function from the Discovery phase onward.
