Role Description

We're looking for a highly accomplished and senior-level Forward Deployed Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the charge on complex AI agentic deployments. This role demands a seasoned technologist and strategic partner who can not only design and develop bespoke solutions leveraging our Agentforce platform and other cutting-edge technologies but also lead technical engagements and mentor junior peers.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of bringing cutting-edge AI solutions to our most strategic clients. This isn't just about coding; it's about deeply understanding our customers' most complex problems, architecting sophisticated solutions, and leading the end-to-end technical delivery of innovative, impactful solutions that leverage our Agentforce platform and beyond.

Your Impact

• Drive Tangible Outcomes through Hands-On Implementation: Be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of complex AI solutions, personally writing critical code, configuring systems, and troubleshooting issues, while also guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Build Transformative AI Solutions: Take primary ownership of designing, developing, and personally implementing high-quality, scalable production systems, including architecting and deploying complex AI and Large Language Model (LLM) based intelligent agents.
• Engineer Bespoke Agentic AI Solutions: Work directly with customers to design and build custom intelligent agents using the Agentforce platform.
• Data Configuration & Integration: Own the entire data lifecycle, from strategic design of data models to building efficient processing pipelines and establishing seamless integration strategies.
• Proactively Remove Technical Blockers: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges during all phases of solution delivery.
• Drive Agentforce Innovation: Become a foremost expert in our innovative Agentforce platform, leading the development of bespoke intelligent agents and automating intricate business processes.
• Become a Trusted Strategic Partner: Embed yourself deeply with client teams to grasp their operational challenges and strategic goals, translating these needs into clear technical requirements.
• Conduct Deep-Dive Technical Debugging and Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed analysis, debugging, and root cause identification for complex system interactions.
• Lead Rapid Prototyping and Iteration: Quickly develop proofs-of-concept and minimum viable products, often coding alongside client teams.
• Implement and Enforce Best Practices: Apply and evangelize engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a hands-on, end-to-end delivery role for high-quality, scalable production solutions.
• Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).
• Extensive hands-on experience building and deploying solutions with AI/LLM technologies.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurship and a focus on fast, impactful delivery.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements and mentor junior team members.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, as needed to customer sites.
• Fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and deploying conversational AI solutions within highly regulated industries.
• Expert-level experience with Apex and/or Python coding languages.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing, hands-on technical lead or architect role.
• Advanced Salesforce platform certifications.
• Deep knowledge across Salesforce CRM.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience contributing to open-source AI frameworks or libraries.
