Role Description

As a Frontend Engineering Manager at Flutter Brazil, you will lead a team of talented engineers responsible for building high-performance, scalable user experiences across our web and mobile platforms. This role combines technical leadership with people management and delivery ownership. You will be responsible for shaping the frontend architecture, driving engineering excellence, and enabling your team to deliver impactful solutions aligned with our product and business strategy.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and develop a team of frontend engineers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment
• Own the delivery of frontend initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely execution aligned with product goals
• Drive architectural decisions for frontend systems, promoting consistency across web and mobile platforms (React, React Native, Next.js, Expo)
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Coach and mentor engineers through regular feedback, career development, and performance management
• Establish and evolve frontend best practices, including code quality, testing, observability, and performance
• Ensure the evolution and adoption of shared libraries, design systems, and monorepo strategies
• Support hiring efforts, contributing to team growth and raising the bar for talent
• Promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing engineering teams (ideally 2+ years)
• Strong experience in frontend development with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid understanding of scalable frontend architecture and distributed systems
• Experience delivering complex frontend projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting career growth
• Ability to balance technical depth with business impact and delivery priorities
