Role Description

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using:
  • COBOL
  • JCL
  • CICS
  • VSAM
• Perform end-to-end development in COBOL on z/OS.
• Utilize AI Copilot tools to assist with COBOL code documentation and modernization efforts.
• Support and enhance existing mainframe applications while ensuring system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with IBM mainframe application development.
• Hands-on expertise in:
  • COBOL
  • JCL
  • CICS
  • VSAM
• Experience working with DB2, including associated daemon processes.
• Exposure to or experience with the Unisys platform.
• Familiarity with using AI-powered tools (Copilot) in a mainframe development context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
