Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer who is a self-starter and can work independently without constant supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, the ability to quickly evaluate and optimize existing code, and experience with ETL processes, SSIS, and stored procedures.

• Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries and database solutions.
• Evaluate, refactor, and improve existing database structures and code for performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
• Write, optimize, and maintain stored procedures and database scripts.
• Work with PostgreSQL, with at least some hands-on experience.
• Implement and manage cloud-based database solutions using Azure.
• Ensure database security, performance tuning, and best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and business intelligence needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Developer or SQL Developer.
• Expertise in SQL development and optimization.
• Experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
• Strong skills in writing and optimizing stored procedures.
• Some experience with PostgreSQL.
• Azure experience is mandatory.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud-based database architecture and Azure SQL Database.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
