Role Description

The Data Platform Services team is seeking a Data Engineer with an inquisitive and analytical mindset to join our data engineering team. In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Designing and implementing efficient data extraction and ingestion processes.
• Working with stakeholders to identify data needs.
• Investigating opportunities to improve platform scalability.
• Building generic solutions for patterned problems.
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years Python and/or C# in an OOP paradigm experience
• 2+ years implementing cloud solutions with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• 1+ years with SQL experience
• Experience with REST data services, APIs, and microservices (preferred)
• Experience with Git (preferred)
• Experience with containerization with Docker or Podman (preferred)
• Experience with Databricks or Apache Spark (bonus)
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Bash (bonus)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform (bonus)
• Experience CI/CD automation in GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps (bonus)
• GitHub profile link to some personal code examples (bonus)
