Role Description

The Cybersecurity Architecture Engineer ll will be responsible for designing and implementing secure infrastructure and systems with minimal supervision. In this role, you will be leading enterprise-wide security architecture, defining target-state and roadmaps of the infrastructure security needs, guiding our journey to secure our infrastructure platforms, including cloud environments, by applying industry-leading practices to mitigate cyber risks.

• Leads design and implements strategic security initiatives.
• Assist in creating and executing security architecture plans for cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead threat Assessments and Cybersecurity Integration: Support threat assessments and design the integration of cybersecurity solutions into both existing and new systems.
• Infrastructure Security Policies and Procedures: Design and develop platform-specific security baselines, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Acts as trusted advisor to leaders; influences high-impact decisions.
• Support and Enable team Members: Support and enable team members across both technical and functional capacities.
• Align Security with Business Goals: Ensure that security measures align with the organization's business objectives and technology strategies.
• Identify and Mitigate Threats: Continuously identify and communicate emerging security threats by performing threat assessments/threat modelling.
• Document Security Requirements: Document and address the organization's information security and cybersecurity architecture requirements.
• Project Consultation: Assess various IT & business project's security architectures and designs.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with various stakeholders to prioritize critical business functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Advance degree and high-level certs are strongly preferred (CISSP, CCSP, CISM, cloud certs).
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with deep architectural expertise across hybrid/cloud/on-prem architectures, zero-trust, IAM, segmentation, monitoring, encryption (strategy-focused).
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and zero-trust architectures.
• Expertise in security tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions
