Role Description

The global visitor economy—encompassing ministries of tourism, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), airlines, and development finance institutions—is a massive, highly underserved market. We are seeking a Co-Founder & CTO to assume full technical ownership, make high-level architectural decisions, and build robust systems designed for long-term category dominance.

The Role & Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: Lead end-to-end engineering, software architecture, data pipelines, API integrations, and system reliability.
• Product Strategy: Translate commercial and customer feedback into concrete product calls, prioritizing technical roadmaps without requiring micro-management.
• System Architecture: Design and optimize scalable, highly reliable infrastructure intended to operate as industry-standard software over the next decade.
• Team Building: Act as the sole hands-on engineer during the initial execution phase, with the mandate to recruit, onboard, and lead a core engineering team as funding milestones are reached.

Qualifications

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience shipping, maintaining, and scaling real-world SaaS or complex Web products (beyond MVP/prototype stages).
• Systems Mindset: Strong focus on data ingest, scoring algorithms, API architecture, performance optimization, and operational security rather than solely UI/UX design.
• Self-Directed Leadership: Comfortable operating independently in an early-stage environment and making key engineering trade-offs.
• Long-Term Vision: Motivated by building enduring platform infrastructure that sets the standard for a global industry.

Requirements

• Stage: Pre-seed, founder-funded, working platform deployed.
• Compensation: Founding-level equity stake upon entry. Competitive cash compensation triggers upon completion of the upcoming institutional investment round.
