[Hiring] Cloud Native Senior Architect @Pure Storage

Role Description

Everpure is scaling its Cloud Native / Portworx (PX) service business across EMEA, and we are looking for an experienced Cloud Native Customer Engineer to support delivery and ongoing operations for our growing base of Portworx customers in the UK and across EMEA.

Based in the UK, you will be the primary hands-on technical resource embedded with customers and delivery teams for Portworx Enterprise, PX-Backup, PX-DR, and modern virtualization (KubeVirt) engagements — supporting everything from design workshops and deployment through day-2 operations and break/fix support. You will work closely with Delivery Architects, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Everpure's Certified Delivery Partner (CDP) ecosystem to ensure customers get maximum value from their Portworx investment.

This is a proactive, customer-facing, problem-solving role for someone who is comfortable working directly in customer production Kubernetes environments, mastering containerisation and DevOps practices, and troubleshooting complex, mission-critical infrastructure under pressure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting production Kubernetes environments; experience building and operating containerised solutions.
• Proven experience with DevOps practices and a strong understanding of the cloud-native technology landscape.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers directly, including comfort working on customer sites/production environments and communicating technical progress clearly.

Requirements

• In-depth experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments; proficiency with at least one of OpenShift, Rancher, Mirantis, or other orchestrators.
• Familiarity with other container orchestration platforms.
• Linux system administration experience (RHEL, SLES, Debian, Ubuntu).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
• Software-defined storage concepts (NFS, Block, iSCSI) and understanding of open-source databases/modern data platforms supporting highly available business applications.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitOps, Argo, Airflow) and Configuration Management/Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible).
• Working knowledge of cloud IaaS environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and object storage management in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

• Flexible time off.
• Wellness resources.
• Company-sponsored team events.

Logistics

• Must already be based and eligible to work in the UK; with a willingness to travel to customer sites across EMEA and Everpure offices where needed which can be 30% of the time or more, where needed.
• Contract engagement, with scope and duration aligned to Everpure's Portworx EMEA delivery roadmap.
