[Hiring] Cloud Architect @Red River

Role Description

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Architect with infrastructure and automation experience to join our team of open source experts in Poland. In this role, you will design and guide implementations of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure projects to include container and virtualization technologies.

You'll be responsible for providing technical leadership to project teams while ensuring the quality of customer deliverables for one or more projects. You'll apply well-developed technology, consulting, business, and process expertise in the implementation of quality work while actively coaching and mentoring others. You'll need to be proficient in building good customer relationships because you will often play a key role in managing customer expectations. This is a great opportunity to build on your core base of knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting Red Hat’s solutions.

What you will do:

• Scope and support delivery projects and guide customers through successful deployments for our automation and infrastructure solutions like Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and inspire customer use cases and architecture design decisions.
• Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilience.
• Become a respected and trusted subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing their architectural, technical, development, and strategic IT requirements.
• Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.
• Participate in mentoring and knowledge transfer to customers and contribute your knowledge and experience back into the wider Red Hat community for the benefit of other teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience in a solution architect, enterprise architect or consultant role related to the delivery of automation and cloud solutions.
• Background in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain.
• Excellent knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform on a delivery level.
• Background in customer engagement with either a consulting services organization, or within a services division of a software company.
• Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions.
• Understanding of the open source community.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning skills.
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification and experience with Open Practices is a plus.
• Fluency in Polish and English language; German language skills are considered a plus.
• Ready to travel to customer within Poland and on certain occasions with EMEA.
