Role Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Boomi Architect to lead enterprise-wide integration strategy using Boomi. The candidate will own end-to-end integration architecture across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and multi-region environments, driving scalability, governance, security, and performance across complex ecosystems. This is a strategic role involving architecture governance, client advisory, and large program leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
  • Define enterprise integration blueprint and roadmap.
  • Establish API-led and event-driven architecture patterns.
  • Define canonical data models and reusable frameworks.
  • Design high-availability architecture (Atom, Molecule, Cloud deployment).
  • Evaluate middleware modernization strategy.
• Large-Scale Integration Delivery
  • Architect and oversee integrations across:
    • CRM platforms like Salesforce
    • ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA and Oracle E-Business Suite
    • HCM systems (Workday)
    • ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
    • Custom microservices & third-party APIs
  • Integration types:
    • Real-time REST APIs
    • SOAP Web Services
    • EDI (X12 / EDIFACT)
    • Batch & file-based (SFTP, FTP)
    • Event-driven integrations
• Governance & DevOps Leadership
  • Define CI/CD pipelines for Boomi deployments.
  • Standardize environment management (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod).
  • Implement version control & release governance.
  • Define logging, monitoring, and alerting standards.
  • Establish integration performance benchmarks.
• Security & Compliance
  • API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)
  • SSL certificate management
  • Data encryption & masking
  • Compliance alignment (GDPR, HIPAA where applicable)
  • Security design reviews
• Program & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Lead architecture discussions with enterprise architects.
  • Provide solution sizing & estimation.
  • Mentor senior integration developers.
  • Conduct technical governance reviews.
  • Drive integration best practices adoption.

Qualifications

• 12+ years total IT experience
• 7+ years hands-on in Boomi
• Deep experience in:
  • Atom & Molecule architecture
  • API Management
  • EDI frameworks
  • Process optimization
  • Advanced error handling strategies
• Strong understanding of:
  • REST, SOAP
  • JSON, XML
  • SQL
  • XSLT
• Experience with:
  • AWS / Azure cloud
  • Messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ)
  • DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

Preferred Qualification

• Boomi Architect Certification
• Experience handling 50+ integration interfaces
• Multi-country rollout experience
• Migration from legacy middleware (Informatica / MuleSoft / Tibco)
• Knowledge of microservices & containerization
