Role Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Microservices & Serverless Developer to design, build, integrate, and support cloud-native applications using AWS services. The role will focus on:

• Microservices
• Serverless development
• REST API integrations
• Event-driven architectures
• Infrastructure automation

The successful candidate will work within a specification-driven development environment and collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years building production microservices or serverless applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Fargate, ECS, VPC Lattice, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and DynamoDB.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js; .NET experience is an advantage.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integration contracts.
• Working knowledge of event-driven patterns and services such as SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Intermediate Terraform capability, including the ability to write and modify infrastructure as code aligned to WVI guidelines.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Comfortable working in a specification-driven development process.
• Experience using GenAI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Kiro in daily coding workflows.
• AWS Developer Associate certification or equivalent experience.
