Role Description

Our client is driving a major data modernization effort. We're looking for a hands-on Data Migration Engineer to help move critical mortgage data from AS400 (IBM i) into a modern SAS environment. This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with legacy systems and modern data tooling to enable enterprise analytics.

• Migrate mortgage data from AS400 / DB2 to SAS
• Analyze and work with RPG (RPG III / IV) code and data structures
• Build and manage transformation pipelines using DBT
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reconciliation during migration
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on requirements and validation

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AS400 / IBM i
• Expertise in RPG programming
• Hands-on experience with DBT
• Solid background in data migration / ETL / ELT
• Experience with DB2 (AS400) and SQL
• Exposure to SAS (preferred)

Requirements

• Mortgage / financial services experience (nice to have)
• Cloud or modern data platform exposure (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) (nice to have)
