Role Description
The Technical Lead is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for defining technical standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring the delivery of innovative, scalable, and high-quality solutions. This position balances strategic oversight with hands-on expertise, driving technical excellence across projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating with multiple departments, including Research and Development (R&D), the Technical Lead ensures that all technical initiatives align with business objectives and client needs.
- Define, implement, and enforce technical standards and best practices across the organization to ensure consistency and quality
- Regularly review and update technical policies to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends
- Develop comprehensive technical architectures that integrate multiple platforms, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Act as the primary authority on technical designs, guiding teams through the implementation of robust and innovative solutions
- Work closely with the R&D department to design and develop new products and solutions that align with the organization’s business strategy
- Provide technical insights and ensure feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client requirements
- Conduct thorough quality control (QC) reviews of all developed features and integrations to ensure they meet both functional and technical standards
- Oversee task allocation, ensuring that responsibilities are distributed effectively based on skill sets and project priorities
- Ensure all tasks progress through the project lifecycle and are completed efficiently
- Any other delegated responsibilities by the Employer
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any other related field
- 5 years+ experience as a NetSuite Technical Consultant
- Advanced proficiency in system architecture, programming languages, and development frameworks (e.g., NetSuite SuiteScript)
- Solid knowledge with NS product industries
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems for competitive advantage
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, inspire innovation, and manage resources effectively
- Bilingual in French and English as we do have clients outside of the province of Quebec
- Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, when appropriate
- Obtained SuiteAdmin, SuiteFoundation, Level 4 Celigo, Application Dev, Web Services Dev, Connector and ERP Consultant Certifications
