Role Description
Solutions Architects at LaunchDarkly are an elite team in our Professional Services organization who help companies achieve progressive delivery. You will be a key contributor to the Revenue team, applying technical software delivery expertise to build relevant solutions for LaunchDarkly customers.
- Be the go-to technical resource for the account team and customers.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to accelerate their product development capabilities.
- Teach effective release practices using LaunchDarkly products.
- Create lasting enthusiasm for building great software products using LaunchDarkly principles.
- Guide software development teams at advanced companies across various industries.
- Act as a catalyst for building centers of excellence with customers focused on modern release practices.
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to understand customer needs.
- Lead Professional Services engagements designed to optimize clients’ software delivery processes.
- Provide expert guidance on software development best practices.
- Foster a robust technical partnership between LaunchDarkly and its customers.
- Identify and resolve technical obstacles that hinder value realization.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly.
- Act as a key advocate for customers, conveying their feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software.
- Hands-on technical background with a consultative approach.
- Expert in implementing the full software development lifecycle in an enterprise environment.
- Experienced in developing in at least one of the supported languages: Java, .NET, Go, JS, Python, PHP, NodeJS, Ruby, Rails, iOS, or Android.
- Able to guide customers and teammates in implementation of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Led teams through development process transformation.
- Adept at acquiring context to make prescriptive recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with focus.
- Self-starter excited to take on hard problems.
- Passionate about helping customers with a strong sense of ownership.
- Effective communicator with experts from different backgrounds.
- Technical background interested in a customer-facing role.
- Deeply curious individual seeking to understand how things work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with experimentation and mobile.
- Served as a consultant for customers in the past.
- Performed in both a pre-sales and post-sales capacity.
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or other feature management platforms.
- Worked with the services of one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Worked with Linux, Containers, and Virtual Machines.
Pay
- Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area: $167,000 - $229,000
- Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $150,000 - $206,000
- Zone 3: All other US locations: $141,000 - $195,000
Benefits
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
