Role Description

As a Staff Software Engineer you play a key role as a technical expert. You will work closely with other engineers and teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex engineering problems.

  • Take part in our on-call rotation

Qualifications

  • Computer science background
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Interest in tackling challenging software architecture problems
  • Enjoy mentoring other engineers and sharing expertise
  • Clear and effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in PHP or Python (bonus if comfortable using both)
  • Experience with distributed systems patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Commitment to engineering excellence, including high code quality, comprehensive testing, and operational robustness
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience collaborating through code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions
