As a Solutions Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering enterprise solutions that enable intelligent automation and process optimization. The role focuses on solution engineering, combining workflow orchestration, secure integration, and applied AI to build scalable and efficient systems. You will contribute to the organization’s modernization journey by developing automation-driven solutions that align with Zero Trust security principles and responsible AI practices.

1. Solution Design & Delivery

• Design and develop secure, scalable, and modular solutions that enable automation and process optimization.
• Build and maintain workflow-driven systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Develop proofs of concept (POCs) to test new technologies and validate automation approaches.
• Ensure all designs comply with Zero Trust principles, secure identity management, and data protection standards.

2. Applied AI & Automation Enablement

• Apply AI and GenAI capabilities to enhance automation, analytics, and decision-support workflows.
• Integrate data-driven intelligence into automation solutions to support smarter decision-making.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to deliver governed, secure, and production-ready automation solutions.

3. Governance, Security & Collaboration

• Apply AI risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 23894) to ensure responsible and transparent use of automation.
• Maintain compliance with enterprise security and governance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, RBAC).
• Produce and maintain solution documentation, including technical designs and operational procedures.
• Partner with business, data, and platform teams to translate requirements into robust, maintainable solutions.

We are seeking candidates with:

• 10+ years of experience in solution engineering, automation development, or enterprise system delivery.
• Proven ability to identify and develop automation opportunities by analysing business processes and data patterns, applying AI and analytics where valuable.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable automation solutions, with a strong curiosity for integrating emerging technologies like AI/GenAI
• Strong practical interest and familiarity with GenAI technologies (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LLMs) and a proven appetite for quickly learning and applying new AI capabilities to business problems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and integration frameworks for secure and connected systems. Knowledge of low-code platforms such as OutSystems, and Microsoft Azure services is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Python and C#, with experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and secure design principles for identity, access, and data protection.
• Awareness of AI risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 23894) and responsible technology use.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for solution deployment and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize distributed systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across business, architecture, and platform teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Demonstrated history of upskilling and adapting to new technology trends (e.g., certifications, personal projects, or contributions in nascent technology areas). A proactive, hands-on learning approach to AI/GenAI is essential.
