Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Requirements Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that project requirements are accurately gathered, analyzed, and documented to drive successful product and system development.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and clients to elicit, analyze, and prioritize project requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to fully understand business and technical needs.
  • Translate complex needs into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Develop detailed requirements documentation, including functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure requirements are clearly understood and feasible.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track, manage, and document changes to requirements as the project evolves.
  • Ensure alignment between project goals and requirements to avoid scope creep.
  • Assist in defining acceptance criteria and validate that the final product meets the agreed-upon requirements.
  • Participate in testing activities to confirm that requirements are fulfilled.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Certification in business analysis or requirements engineering (e.g., CBAP, IREB).
  • Knowledge of system modeling techniques, such as UML or BPMN.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar).
  • Understanding of both technical systems and business processes.
