Role Description
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with a solid technical foundation to be part of a team that develops and maintains a suite of applications for the testing, calibration and certification of hardware devices (mobile platforms) for their use with XR SDKs.
- Develop effective and efficient software solutions applying different tech stacks and algorithms.
- Transmit your passion for technology and professionalism to your peers.
- Be receptive and empathetic with your team and communities.
- Engage in the design and implementation of challenging problems for our customers, R&D and internal technology interest groups.
- Train yourself and other peers within our internal tech dojo.
Qualifications
- Strong experience (+2 years) coding with modern C++ (17 and beyond).
- Degree (Bsc., Msc. or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to tackle mid-sized software development tasks independently.
- Able to engage in technical implementation conversations and make proposals.
- Proficient in English and comfortable engaging in technical discussions and presentations.
Requirements
- Experience with Android application development in Java (nice to have).
- Experience working on mobile platforms at a low level using Android NDK (nice to have).
- Familiarity with sensor data processing (e.g. accelerometer, gyroscope, Camera feed, etc.) (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Bazel (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Protocol Buffers (nice to have).
- Contributions to open source projects (nice to have).
- Active membership in a related interest group and public speaking on tech topics (nice to have).
