Role Description
IGI Cybersecurity is looking for a Software Developer to join our growing team in the design and development of software solutions related to cybersecurity, specifically Nodeware®, our cutting-edge AI-driven vulnerability and attack surface management solution. The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
- Development, writing code, documenting functionality, and testing
- Work within a software development team environment
- Contribute to the overall deliverables of the roadmap
- Provide level 2/3 support troubleshooting complex production issues
Responsibilities
- Create well designed, testable, efficient code
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Develop software tests and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
Requirements
- API architecture, development, and documentation (RESTful JSON, WebSockets, Swagger)
- Python 3.9+, Django Framework, DRF
- Relational Database experience (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Git and how to effectively utilize for project tracking
- Cloud development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- QA & Unit Testing
- Agile Development Methodology
- L3 Customer Support (specific to domain/product)
Desired Experience / Skills
- Experience or knowledge in Serverless (Lambda)
- Secure Development Life Cycle (SDLC) focus
- Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CEH, etc.)
- Vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.)
- LLMs, specifically RAG or fine-tuning
Salary Description
$110,000-$135,000 per year salary range
