Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in video processing to join our Platform team. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and optimise high-performance video pipelines that power our AI-driven safety platform.

Develop video encoding workflows
Integrate processing frameworks like GStreamer
Ensure real-time performance across the infrastructure

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong knowledge of C++
Hands-on experience with GStreamer and computer vision applications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with video processing frameworks and tools (e.g., GStreamer, FFmpeg)
Knowledge of encoding and decoding algorithms (e.g., H.264, H.265, MJPEG) and streaming protocols
Proven ability to optimise video systems for real-time performance and scalability
