Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of one of our international clients, a company dedicated to improving the healthcare experience for patients and clinicians through AI-powered solutions.
- Develop and maintain mission-critical systems that support healthcare operations and interoperability for numerous clinics and health systems.
- Define the team's technical direction and develop processes for successful client and partner integrations.
- Guide the architectural evolution of applications.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, solution engineers, client experience managers, and other software engineers.
- Create world-class solutions that meet client needs.
- Emphasize efficiency and success through continuous learning and craftsmanship.
- Utilize a cutting-edge stack including full-stack TypeScript leveraging NestJS, React, Remix, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Pulumi, all on AWS.
- Engage in deep architecture work experimenting with new and exciting technologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building robust and scalable full-stack applications, databases, and developer tools.
- Significant experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining production applications at scale.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript (TypeScript), React, NodeJS (NestJS), and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTTP2, WebSockets, gRPC, GraphQL).
- Experience with automated testing (ViTest, Cypress, Playwright), continuous deployment, and continuous integration (CircleCI, Github Actions, CodeFresh).
- Exposure in architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
Requirements
- Experience with observability and monitoring systems (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, Cloudwatch, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code in production.
- Familiarity with front-end and internal UI technologies (ReTool, Salesforce Communities, Contentful, React, NextJS, etc.).
- Experience with containers and container orchestrators like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience designing, versioning, and scaling APIs.
- Extensive experience with one of the following languages (GoLang, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin).
- Experience working with healthcare, healthcare technology, and clinical staff, or other regulated industries, and/or EHR/EMR integration experience.
- Experience debugging distributed systems.
- Experience with container runtime environments such as Fargate.
