Role Description

The Impact ECS (Product Costing) Engineer role is a key position in the Renesas IT organization to support Product Costing for all aspects of SAP and other Finance Business applications.

Collaborate with other FI SAP Analysts to assist business users with ongoing operations.
Support the business analyst in collecting business requirements.
Provide design proposals that suit business needs.
Perform required SAP configurations.
Write detailed specifications for custom program development.
Support the business in testing and applying automated solutions.
Provide post go-live support and execute SAP Implementation / Development activities in Impact ECS.
Support incident solving by analyzing incidents raised by users and providing solutions.
Handle change requests with a clear understanding of new business requirements.
Develop documentation for configuration, enhancements, test scripts, end user manuals, and training courses.
Understand business needs and deliver solutions to make processes more efficient and simpler whenever possible.
Train key and end users and explain technical situations to non-technical individuals.

Qualifications

High degree of knowledge in SAP CO or product costing.
Experience in SQL Query building.
Experience in VB scripting familiarity.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, technology, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in SAP FI with support or implementation.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Capable of handling SAP business change requests independently.
A talent for multi-tasking and getting things done swiftly.
Working experience in Impact ECS is an added advantage.
This is a remote role based in Malaysia, with minimal travel required.
