Role Description
As a Senior R&D Engineer for Artificial Intelligence, you are responsible for shaping Rithum’s AI and data strategy, bringing strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and a strong collaborative spirit. In this pivotal role, you go beyond technical development to drive impactful solutions in eCommerce and product data optimization.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable machine learning models.
- Guide the delivery of AI products that align with our vision for innovation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Drive data-driven decision-making and advance product innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead high-impact AI initiatives, aligning departmental strategies with Rithum’s business objectives.
- Leverage technical expertise to design scalable, high-performance AI solutions.
- Address complex, ambiguous problems with advanced judgment and strategic solutions.
- Collaborate across teams, adapting communication to align AI initiatives with business goals.
- Guide decision-making at departmental and company levels, driving AI project priorities and execution.
- Ensure delivery of reliable, scalable solutions that meet business needs and drive future growth.
- Apply AI and ML expertise to create high-impact solutions and develop frameworks for success.
- Mentor and develop other engineers within their subject matter expertise.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of AI/ML experience with a strong technical and strategic focus.
- Proven leadership in high-impact AI projects, with a history of mentoring team members.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud platforms.
- Strong communication skills, adept at visualizing and presenting complex data insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a record of delivering data-driven solutions.
- Experienced collaborator with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, ML, Statistics) preferred.
- Data privacy compliance experience, ensuring adherence to regulations such as GDPR, CCPA.
- Familiarity with industries such as e-commerce, retail, online marketplaces, or digital advertising.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Travel Required
Up to 10%
