Role Description
We are seeking a multi-experienced Console Engineer that has experience with Unreal Engine, C++, and most importantly, Console Porting. You will work on the team of console porters and prioritize game quality and timeliness above all else.
- Manage project codebase and perform performance optimizations.
- Work within a department of console developers to ensure on time tasks and meet milestones.
- Assist with release administrative tasks such as certification, submission, and dev portals.
- Provide valuable feedback on technical solutions and systems within our games.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience with Unreal Engine 5.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience shipping titles on all major platforms (Xbox, Playstation, & Nintendo platforms).
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine’s Blueprint visual scripting system.
- Expertise in C++ programming language, networking, and graphics optimizations.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine Subsystems, including Gameplay Ability Systems, Network Replication, and Platform Development Tools.
- Familiarity with Engine level code in the Unreal Platform.
- Knowledge of porting platform requirements (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo).
- Excellent communication skills and adeptness at time management, ability to mentor junior programmers.
- Able to rapidly solve complicated scenarios and gain knowledge of our games.
Requirements
- Experience with Android, IOS porting pipeline and implementation.
- Experience with Sequencer and/or AI.
- Experience developing first-person horror puzzle games.
