Role Description
IQGeo is seeking a Senior Hybrid App Software Engineer with an emphasis on hybrid mobile app technologies to support our Web and Mobile Software engineering efforts for domestic and international enterprise customers. This role joins a dynamic team that enjoys working with complex applications and products that utilize software, GIS, engineering, and problem-solving skills.
- Design, development, unit-testing, maintenance, and enhancement of hybrid applications for iOS, Android and Windows platforms using cross-platform frameworks
- Implementation of automated testing
- Configuration management and management of builds
- Technical documentation of software design
- Guide and mentor engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience
Requirements
- Mobile application development (iOS, Android)
- Experience with Electron app development
- Experience building efficient hybrid applications in JavaScript with Capacitor (or similar technology)
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS technology (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, or similar)
- Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming, with a proven track record or successful development experience
- Experience integrating front-end and back-end components
- Experience creating and running automated tests
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to present technical concepts to Architects and Developers
- Experience using Git or other distributed version control systems
- UK citizenship or permanent residency required
