Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Driver Engagement team, helping us improve our mobile app (currently a 4.5 in the UK App Store).

  • Work on key initiatives to help us reach and delight more EV drivers
  • Make improvements to the app's reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Develop mobile applications with React Native

Qualifications

  • Experience developing customer-facing React Native apps for iOS and Android
  • Fluency in React Native and TypeScript (experience with React is a bonus)
  • Experience with React Navigation, React Query, and Redux, as well as RESTful APIs
  • Excellent communication skills for working in a cross-functional squad in a fully remote setting
  • An eye for design and collaboration with the Design team
  • Enthusiasm for our mission with a keen interest in EVs or addressing climate change

Requirements

  • Help provide a great experience to ev.energy customers
  • Predominantly work with React Native (occasional contributions to web with React)
  • New feature development and enhancement of existing features
  • Use data to make data-driven decisions where possible
