Role Description
We are looking for an engineer with a background in web API development and management to maintain and develop our clients' Gateway API product.
- Researching and defining how to best implement client requirements and ideas
- Participating in technical discussions with the team and the client
- Developing software, mainly using Go, but other languages may also be required (e.g. Python for testing)
- Creating unit tests for your code, conducting code review, preparing documentation, and participating in other software development activities
- Fixing bugs efficiently and effectively, and finding workarounds for blockers
- Occasionally, participating in technical pre-sales meetings
Qualifications
- Proficiency in the Go programming language
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of various technologies used for web APIs (Rest, SOAP, GraphQL, TCP, gRPC)
- Experience with SQL/no-SQL databases and storage/caching/queuing technologies (Redis, MongoDB, Kafka)
- Experience with cloud products, Kubernetes, or other orchestration tools
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- English at least B2 level, C1/C2 preferred
Requirements
- Industry Authentication Standards (OIDC, JWT, Basic Auth, etc.)
- Experience in front-end development using React, AngularJS, and HTML
- Knowledge of theoretical principles and challenges of API management
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Jenkins pipelines, Ansible, Helm, etc.)
- Strong leadership skills and experience in communication with clients and requirements elicitation
- Experience in working with Software Houses
