Role Description
The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure related technologies, including migration technologies, along with a strong background in infrastructure and modern systems management. This position requires availability to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time to meet client obligations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, infrastructure teams, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
- Review existing landing zones and make recommendations to enforce governance throughout including RBAC, policies, management groups, etc.
- Act as an escalation point for cloud-related issues seeing them through to completion.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services including Compute, Storage, Data, Networking, Identity, logging and monitoring, and Backup and DR.
- Experience with governance, logging, monitoring, and threat detection technologies such as Defender for Cloud, Defender XDR, Web App Firewalls, Azure monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure policy.
- Modern workplace experience including Entra and Hybrid joined devices, Intune management, Autopilot, Mobile devices, and Office 365 services.
- Strong experience with Entra ID configuration and security hardening including policies for authentication, authorization, B2B, and single sign on.
- Experience with cloud migrations to Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Other Microsoft Security, Infrastructure, and Modern Workplace related certifications
