Role Description
Our full-stack solution is based on modern, serverless architecture. Powered by AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDb, etc.) and using NodeJs, Typescript and NestJs. On the guest-facing side we have NextJs and React. It’s a robust, reliable solution that’s turning heads— and continuously evolving.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Ensure the stability, security, and reliability of our serverless architecture powered by AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
- Collaborate on architectural decisions and contribute to best practices in testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Continuously sharpen your skills and evolve with our tech stack in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and spar with your peers to improve your own skills.
- Work closely with other engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and business units to shape the future of hospitality tech at Numa.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional backend software engineering
- Strong experience with Typescript, Node.js and API design
- Experience with AWS service (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS)
- Experience with CI / CD processes
- An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset
- Familiarity with IaC, especially SST, is a plus
- Familiarity with Nest.js is a plus
