Role Description
A fast-growing tech company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help design and build the systems that power a global-scale product. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building high-performance features, tackling architectural challenges, and working with large-scale systems that handle serious traffic.
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and features.
- Refactor and optimize existing systems to ensure performance under heavy loads.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design clean, reliable solutions.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, from design patterns to infrastructure choices.
- Continuously improve our engineering practices through code reviews, CI/CD, and automation.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with deep PHP expertise.
- Strong knowledge of OOD (Object-Oriented Design), architectural patterns, and clean code practices.
- Experience working with complex, large-scale database schemas.
- Proactive, independent, and a true team player who communicates clearly.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, agile environments.
