Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Backend Developer specializing in GoLang to join our vibrant team. This fully remote position offers flexibility in working hours and reports directly to the co-founders. The role involves taking ownership of our backend stack, building applications, and overseeing end-to-end development.
- Develop and maintain applications and user experiences from the ground up
- Collaborate with design, product, and growth teams to understand product vision and requirements
- Manage significant portions of the product and keep stakeholders informed with regular updates
- Create and manage roadmaps for your domain
- Prepare tasks for sprints and present KPIs during bi-weekly meetings
- Assist in the interview process as the engineering team expands
Qualifications
- Strong experience in GoLang and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Proven ability to design architecture and develop logic tailored to business needs
- Leadership capabilities for overseeing the backend development team and collaborating on architectural designs
- Commitment to best practices in software and security
- Contributions to cloud-based systems architecture
- Active participation in fostering a positive company culture
