Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Senior Back-end Developer with prior experience in developing and designing complex web-based applications.
- Backend web development
- Designing and implementing complex websites, workflows, APIs, plugins, etc.
- Delivering code with the highest quality, following specific coding standards
- Performing TDD/BDD using various tools like PHPUnit
- Working on multiple dynamic projects
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience
- Excellent knowledge and skills in PHP, OOP & MySQL
- Experience with various MVC frameworks
- Experience in JavaScript
- Comfortable with TDD/BDD practices
- Comfortable with following specific coding standards
- Linux experience
- Good communication skills
- Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Proactive, self-motivated to learn and improve
Requirements
- Experience in building APIs and API clients using latest standards
- Experience with leading frameworks like Laravel, Lumen, Slim, Symfony, etc.
- Experience with WordPress: building plugins or themes from scratch
- Experience with TDD/BDD, e.g. PHPUnit
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3 or 4
- Experience with React
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
