Role Description
As a Senior Associate Technical Analyst at RSI, your work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring technical solutions.
- Develops server applications using various programming languages.
- Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives from a technical perspective.
- Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).
- Translating business requirements into technical artifacts.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience with Relational Databases, Data Structures, and standard development techniques (RUP, OOD, SDLC).
- 2+ years of SQL skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand both business and technical concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people including management, subject matter experts, developers, and testers.
- Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients.
Requirements
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with FICO Blaze.
- Experience working with a Decision Management Platform.
- Experience working with a business rules engine.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
