Role Description

They are looking for a Senior Application Architect who can work with their engineering lead to architect our API product. This role will require:

Working with leads in Australia and the US to build out the tech design for a best in class API framework.
Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Creating technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and a PoC for the solution.
Ensuring the solution is compliant with regulated and federal standards for performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

10+ years of direct programming experience building products using one or more programming languages like Java, Go, JS, PHP, Python, etc.
Extensive API architecture experience.
PHP and Laravel framework (great to have).
SDK Design Experience (great to have).
Experience both consuming and designing public or private APIs.
Experience with REST, GraphQL, grpc, etc. required.
Understanding of modern cryptography - AES, PKI, etc.
Experience contributing to open source projects and working with open source communities is a plus.
Experience working on security related projects and compliant industries is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Fluent English level.
Located in Latam.

Requirements

Available to work for 4-8 weeks only, with some overlapping hours with Sydney, Australia.
